More than 25 years ago, faith, family, and proximity placed Paul Romriell and Adrian Bybee in each other's lives. A neighborhood connection turned into mentorship. A youth group became a proving ground. Paul was early in a demanding law-enforcement career. Adrian was still chasing his athletic potential. Different stages, but already walking parallel roads.
Life moved on. Careers evolved. Families grew. Challenges hit. Losses came. Wins did not always feel like wins. But the thread never broke.
In early 2026, they reconnected and saw something undeniable: they had both lived the same internal battle. The pressure. The isolation. The expectation to be strong no matter what. And beneath it all, the same quiet truth: even the strongest people feel alone sometimes.
